ProLift Toyota Material Handling is searching for a Forklift Technician / Mechanic to work the Weekend Shift at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing - TMMI in Princeton, IN .  A successful Technician will efficiently perform quality repairs on lift trucks and industrial equipment and complete work assignments in a safe and satisfactory manner.  Days/Hours are:  Saturday, Sunday & Monday(6:00am - 630pm)

  • Technician will ensure proper maintenance is performed on ProLift vehicles assigned
  • Maintain adequate and accurate parts inventory assigned
  • Perform the service job on time and right the first time
  • Repair and service lift trucks and other equipment
  • Diagnose problems
  • Obtain parts and technical information needed to repair equipment
  • Accurately and legibly complete paperwork such as work orders, time cards, support information, etc. and turn in on a timely basis
  • Operate lift trucks and equipment as required
  • Read and comprehend technical manuals
  • Use proper test equipment for troubleshooting
  • Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees. Customers and management in a cooperative, supportive and courteous manner
  • Accurately communicate appropriate information to those who need to know on a timely basis
  • Communicate positively and courteously with our customers
  • Own and maintain hand tools as required by management. (Current tool list inventory required to be on file)
  • Hours will normally be 12 hours Saturday, Sunday and Monday
  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Education/Job Requirements:  High School Graduate or Equivalent, Tech School Preferred, Valid Driver’s License and 2 years’ experience preferred and the hours of the position are : Saturday, Sunday & Monday 6:00 am - 6:30 pm
