ProLift Toyota Material Handling is searching for a successful New Equipment Sales Representative for the Cincinnati Customer Service Center with a territory of Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati, OH.   A successful Sales Representative will expand the customer base, by selling ProLift’s line of products along with maintaining and promoting ProLift’s customer relationships with the goal of becoming an “Indispensable Partner” 

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Grow sales, parts, service and rental sales volume and expand the customer base by selling new and used equipment
  • Work up Equipment quotes, follow-up with leads, assist National Account Reps as requested by Sales Manager, demonstrate product, understand and present financial merchandising solutions/alternatives
  • Prepare application and product surveys, evaluate off-lease and trade-in equipment, participate in ProLift and vendor programs as needed, respond with the same urgency and concern for internal and external customers
  • Exceed all annual sales goals and expectations
  • Be an effective business partner to customers and prospects by understanding their business needs
  • Coordinate activity with the Sales Manager and territory Customer Service Sales Representative
  • Utilize CRM system to manage territory by developing itineraries and call reports, managing prospecting and other call activity and maintaining the database
  • Utilize available technology to be a more effective and efficient resource to ProLift, its customers and prospects
  • Ensure professional development by participating in Training and other personal development programs
  • Listen and respond with solutions to customer and prospect needs and requests.  Promote ProLift as a business partner to the customer (embrace a “business owner” mentality on behalf of the customer), exceed customer expectations
  • Manage customer service initiatives (Used Voice of the Customer and Loyalty Guarantee) Promote ProLift’s philosophies, vision, strategies, and value of “Doing the Right Thing”
  • TLM “’Toyota Lean Management” philosophy
  • Protects organizations values by keeping information confidential and ability to handle sensitive information

Education/Job Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent, College preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License/Acceptable Driving Record
  • 3-5 years industry Sales experience preferred
  • 5 years or more of Sales experience required
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
